Busy little (Italian) bee...

Working on 4 projects right now: 2 websites (3 if you count mine), a homebrew label, and painting lotuses(?) on a bathroom wall. Nonetheless, I have spruced up the mainpage a bit and I'm now working on the gallery pages....which means I'm also adding the new art I've promised for awhile. I've also been at war with the DMV to try and get my permit, and I must say that the DMV is winning more rounds than I care to admit to.

My DMV nightmare:
attempt 1: Went down after updating my social security info...denied shortly thereafter because the Social Security computer "didn't have my updated info"

attempt 2: Nearly got heatstroke waiting for a bus that never arrived. Yea, sounds like a premise for a crap indie film ...but there ya go.

attempt 3: Got in, got my number, waited for AN HOUR (normal wait time for the DMV from what I understand), and was denied again because the "Social Security computer was down" and the clerk had me wait while she got ready to head home. This was a bad omen (go fig)

attempt 4: Got in, got my number, waited for awhile. Good news - no problems with the S.S. computer, Bad News - The camera AND the license printer was down. After a bout of maniacal laughter I left, tossed my number in the air and exited stage left even.

...So at this point I say f@#k it and try for my driver's license instead.

things I learned:
1.The DMV is the 6th circle of hell
2.My wife is one of the coolest people on planet earth.
3.I need one of these ---> Microsphere

The weekend cometh...

...Friggin-A Hooray! Another week draws to a close. Seems like the weekend would've never have come with clients who've seriously tried to stiff me to persistent car troubles marring what would've been a lovely week. But, I'm bitching again... Anyway, this week has taught me a few things:

1. Don't work without a contract

2. Sleep is good

3. Tom Waits is one of the best musicians on the planet and feels my pain.

Hell, thy name is Tucson...

being that I now own a car, and given that car is a cool hearse I figured I should get one of those things that says I can drive it. Sounds easy huh? Well when your only mode of transportation is your feet and you turned down a ride at 8am from your best friend because your lazy ass didn't wanna get up that early...then guess what? your dumb ass is hoofin' it in 100 degree weather waiting for the worst transportation in the US (AKA Sun Tran). An hour and a half in the heat cured me of my brain dead notion that I was going to get to see that stupid little piece of plastic any time today. On the upside, while I was walking back home from the bus stop there was a motorist that stopped and asked if I needed a ride anywhere since she hates to see anyone walk in this hell...I guess theres hope for humanity after all. :-)

Things I learned today:
1. I am a lazy dumbass
2. I can pull my skeleton out the crack my ass in less time than it takes a Sun Tran driver to travel 10 feet.
3. Tucson is the 5th level of hell
