Artboy Cometh

Submitted art to the next Solar Culture show...only one this time, but at least it's good and it's there. Also doing more submissions for various places around town and the net. Keep ya posted if anything comes up. Also have a few new scans that I'll try to put up soon (running low on server space, so I'm trying to find some good options). Also getting one step closer to getting 4 wheels and a steering wheel so if you're in Tucson during the coming months, please stay indoors for your safety (or at least stay off the sidewalk).

Just a thought: When you look in the mirror and see a balding pink gorilla with a potbelly staring back, it's time to rethink your exercise options.

The Big Shoe

Went to see Einsteurzende Neubauten with Sheri. Amazing show and equally amazing band. Since Sheri is an EN band supporter we got to see them after the show...most of the band members were very cool considering the breakneck tour schedule they had. All very intelligent and engaging about whatever the supporters had questions about. Strangely, I never knew that some of the band members were tiki fans...they asked me about local tiki bars (how cool is that). Sadly I guess the only downside to the concert was Blixa, who treated me like I killed puppies for a living. Every question met with a grimace or apathetic remark...(the fabled "german humor"?). Yet with Sheri it was a different story (go fig) he seemed enamored with her from the second she shook his hand, so at least she had fun talking to him. Maybe I could be wrong and he's actually a pleasant fellow...time will tell.
